Artist Leo Villareal plans to brighten up the Bay Bridge up with 25,000 LED lights, he just needs $7 million first. The Bay Lights Project has been established to do exactly this. With $5.2 million already raised the Bay Lights project has the backing of many art enthusiasts and even economists. Estimated to add $97 million to the local economy, this project shows great promise in boosting the local area and ‘making it shine’.
